Introduction

From a very humble start to a success story that is still going strong, this is the story of Wingfield Motors.

After completing his business degree, John Van Niekerk, the CEO of the company had a basic start beginning with spraying gas bottles and then transitioning into the fuel industry. It was not long after this that he decided to start his first business, purchasing and running a fuel station in Bellville.

Having a passion for vehicles and business he was soon buying and selling his own cars, 3 or 4 at a time and naturally this progressed and progressed and soon it transformed into a hugely successful business that now has just under 200 cars at any given time, yes Wingfield Motors.

From the first branch that was opened in Goodwood, to next in Kuilsriver and most recently the newly obtained Strand branch, Wingfield motors has been creating a well respected and sought after name for itself for well over 24 years.

They have stacked up several awards from all the major financial institutions over the years for being the top dealership and it is because of this high standard that they have become known as the champions in the used car industry
